We're talking about the squad that has won seven Cricket World Cups, along with six more T20 titles, and once went over three years without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, those for the peak baggers, are all that remain for a side that has won it all.

It needed as late as Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase over 300, reclaiming their record for the biggest in the women's 50-over format, is, in truth, a compliment to the bowling attack that have worn canary yellow over five decades.

She reached fifty in 35 balls - her fastest at the World Cup - and her century in 84 balls as she flogged anything short, scoring 21 fours and three sixes.

Once she was out the team needed 66 more at one run per ball - an achievable target now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Pursuing 330 is uncharted waters so I'm pleased we have the assurance to do that now," added Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to repeat it but, if necessary, we know we can achieve it."

That comment will be the final thing rival teams at this World Cup should hear.

In recent days a belief they will succeed regardless of circumstances has grown stronger - this success succeeding win against Pakistan by 107-run victory despite struggling at 76-7 at one stage.
